Name: Arcile Tarukaja
Race: Wolf Humanoid/Demon
Age: 137 years
Birthday: December 13
Unique Characteristics: His wolf ears, tail, and fur covering mainly only his limbs are black, and has several markings and runes in varying positions on his body. Most of the markings are fluid, as if drawn on by a paintbrush seemingly an energy network of sorts, and are a glowing crimson in color. The runes are a slightly darker shade of red, as if blood crept to the surface of his skin. These runes can be released for a boost in power, up to the total of 6. These runes are on the front of Arcile’s left shoulder, the middle of his spine, his right knee cap, his chest, his throat, and his left side. Notably, he wears bandages around his waist. Generally, he wears a set of black slack pants, a black leather jacket with a hood, fully lined with light brown fur, and some form of dark red undershirt. Lastly, he wears a silver ring with a red stone, and a silver cross necklace with black runes engraved into the bars. Were he to activate any of his runes, they would behave as if released seals. Progressively, the more of them that are activated, the more his demon power is released, and the less control he has. In addition to this, his skin becomes tainted. The more his powers are unrestrained, the more his appearance begins to flicker and wisp. His skin turns as dark as his fur, and his eyes and markings are the only thing not affected by this, if anything, glowing more intensely as his power is unleashed.
His face is smoothly chiseled, with dark and full sideburns. He does not have any actual facial hair besides that. His hair is relatively short, but fluffy and messy. His tail extends a couple feet out, as fluffy and long-haired as the hair on his head. Even where his fur remains free of markings, there is always a supremely dark red shine to it. His default expression is a fairly distraught smirk, though he smiles too. On either cheek, there are thin lines, marking him as potentially feral. At either of his wrists, he has steel armbands that extend 4 inches past his wrist.
Personality: Arcile is a fairly multi-faceted man. While still appearing to be young, he is wise, having seen through the eyes of humans that changed over more than a century. He sees that humans are so full of evil and hatred as a whole, and instead chooses to look for the good in everything. He often prefers to keep to himself, meditating on his life thus far, and the future that may come. Though he prefers to stay neutral, if one were to manage to provoke him, his wolven instincts would take hold, as well as those in him of a demon. When offset, his mind reverts to a more carnal state, preferring to lean towards actions that result in either pleasure or bloodshed, sometimes both. His meditation often takes place after these fits due to the fact that he never forgets an outburst. His mind is sharp, yet unstable, and because of this, those that he would like to protect may end up getting in the way. Still, he often wonders about things such as love, and money, and other things that most normal beings want. He wonders if any of the things most sought after are for him, or are reasonable for him to seek. If someone were to find him, he would be hospitable, patient and kind, even to the point of being trustworthy and unconditionally caring until the person in question proved beyond any reasonable means that they were not worth the attention. Being a loner, Arcile often finds himself depressed or afraid of what the future may hold. After all, he holds himself to be alone simply because he is either afraid of opening up to another, trusting them with his remorse, or simply being afraid of hurting another person. However, one thing to note is that as he becomes older, his patience wears thin more frequently, and his resulting frustrations build up much more, resulting in feral behavior.
-Music: Oddly enough, both instrumentally gifted and vocally so, Arcile often unwinds and lets go by way of expression. He’s also highly respective of the sanity of other people, so most times, he’s as quiet as he can manage to be when he practices.
-Drinking: With emotional instability, drinking is often a favored pastime of those afflicted. Though normally he only casually and lightly drinks, some days that are far worse than others cause him to binge drink. His drunken state is much akin to that of someone of a miserable and sobbing demeanor. If he’s alone, he will try to play music, but it will be much less ordered and somber in nature, if he’s with someone, he may attempt to cling to them as a result of overbearing sadness.
-Affection: While he is a wolf, there is a bit of doggish nature in him. As a result of this, he tends to like physical affection and attention. He wouldn’t openly admit it out of pride, but he’s quite the soft man at heart. Were it not for the fact that he is both wolf and demon, he might not be so reserved and retreated.
-Sensation: All sensations, be it visual, audible, sense of touch, taste, or smell, are key aspects of his nature. So long as it feels good, sounds good, tastes good, and the like, it pleases the wolf. It’s a very important aspect to remember if one wants to lure him.
-Arrogance: While a lone wolf, and one of pride, he still refuses to acknowledge those of higher class, especially when they act as though others are beneath them. If one is capable of doing something, and the responsibility arises, Arcile believes that the person should take care of it themselves, as opposed to hiring someone else to do it.
-Hatred: Oddly enough, for one who is both wolf and demon, and drinks from the cups of bloodlust and madness, he realizes that hatred only garners more hatred, and killing only leads to more killing. When in his right mind, his goal in combat is to disarm and detain, not maim.
-Helplessness: As a lone wolf, he has very much adhered to the ideal of self-sustinence. He believes that every person, no matter how small, can rise up and reach for anything they want or need. While a nice ideal at heart, he tends to be a bit overserious and harsh when trying to teach people this ideal. He doesn’t like the idea of being worthless and helpless, and as such, fortuitously denies it outright.
-Peace: As difficult as it is to maintain, peace is the goal of the wolf demon, Arcile. It’s even harder for him to maintain with his lack of stable momentum. Were it not for that, he could be a major driving force for change.
-Love: One of his fears, but also one of his driving forces. He has the simple ability to love and to care for nearly anyone, even the lowest of people. As a result, if he is in his right mind, he will strive to protect as many people as he can.
-Unity: His final goal is to unit all people, regardless of race to join a common cause. Not just by race, but also to unite people as indiviuals. Harmony fits into this as when people work together, sometimes the impossible can become possible.
-Loss of Control: Without control, Arcile has no way to keep himself from harming or mutilating another person. Because of this, he tends to reach for absolute or high levels of control in as many aspects of living as he can.
-Love: Oddly enough, the one thing he may crave, being in love is a scary thing for Arcile. Too many times, others have abused his trust, and as such, is less trusting now. Sure, he may still be kind to the average person, but letting them enter and stay close is another habit altogether. Should someone with a patient and gentle heart approach him, perhaps this fear will go away.
-Seclusion: Again, while preferring to stay alone, Arcile is terrified that one day, should he become more public, that he will be shut out entirely by those around him, and so he exiles himself, in a futile attempt to prevent this. It also contributes to his reluctance to be sociable.
-Being misunderstood: Often labelled as ‘that wolf’ or ‘demon’ or even ‘mutt’ in some cases, this particular fear contributes the most to him being reclusive. He fears that no one, even in few will understand why he does what he does, or that no one will take him for what he is in heart, not of body or race.
Hair: Jet Black
Weight: 150 pounds
Complexion: Fair and white skin
Fighting Style: In combat, there’s only one goal. To rend flesh and bone. If that goal is not met, something went wrong somewhere. Should Arcile fall short and not be able to measure up, he will more likely than not snap, falling into a deepening cycle of raw madness until his physical limits are overly pushed. He carries with him a cursed katana that only responds to his power, and none else. The blade itself is black, with a glowing red line down the center, and it is stored in a matching sheath. Should he spiral into madness, his katana will disappear and claws of spirit energy will form at his wrists, glowing a deep crimson. Overall, combat is one of the things he’s best at, despite the fact that he would prefer not to fight.
